Chabot Fine Art Gallery is pleased to present “Lines & Visions”, a collection of work by Steve Barylick and Sunil Howlader.

Steve Barylick hopes to evoke emotion, and interaction for the viewer through abstract imagery, texture, color, and lines in this collection. Barylick’s wish is for his art to be examined and explored through the many subtle details that appear when one experiences the work. Always developing new bodies of work, Barylick continues to create without limits or boundaries exploring the many possibilities of the creative mind.

Sunil Howlader brings expressive elements of abstraction to life with realistic detail that combines the conscious and unconscious mind. His work evokes a harmonious aesthetic that are conjured from memories and local landscape. His vivid colors and salient brush strokes bring together the realms of abstraction and representation within a single piece carrying a symbolic significance in which light filled shades represent the future, and darker tones represent the past.
