Our Holiday Selected Charity
Many of us look for ways to reach out to needy and hurting children in an effort to make their Christmas season a little brighter. We have chosen “Nino Alegro – The Happy Child” a home in Santiago, DR that takes care of 160 children that have been sexually abused, living on the streets or children without parents to care for them. The home is run by Ana Cruz, a victim herself, and she is asking for our help to be able to give the children the following items for Christmas: new clothing, shoes, underwear, socks, pajamas, pants, shirts, training bras, and toys (such as dolls, basketballs).
Also, the teachers are in need of 3 laptops. We hope that you will be able to join us in giving to these children that receive the loving care from Ana and the staff but are in need of some basic things.
You can bring your gifts to the gallery from now until Sunday November 25th so we can ship them to the children in time for Christmas. Thank you for your generosity
