David Felix
David Felix was born in Tucson, Arizona, where he lived for twenty years there before moving to New England. He studied art at the University of Arizona for two years before transferring to the Rhode Island School of Design on full merit scholarship. In 1980 He received his BFA in Painting from RISD. Exhibiting in group and individual shows for over 3 decades, his work has won numerous awards and has been represented by several local galleries including the Providence Art Club, the Provincetown Art Association and the former Meeting House Gallery in Boston. For the last 10 years Felix’s paintings were represented by various galleries on Canyon Road in Santa Fe New Mexico. There is now a substantial and increasing number of his works in numerous private and corporate collections nationally and internationally. Felix is currently represented locally by the Copley Society of Boston and the Isherwood Gallery in Newport, Rhode Island.
